It's the first time Jay and Yeezy's lady loves have been photographed together. There had been previous reports that B was shunning K even though Kim had been scrambling to make a connection to the pop star. A source adds that it was just a rumor. "Kim and Beyoncé have always been cool," the insider said. "Beyoncé and Jay love Kim and think she's a good match for Kanye."</P><P>On Sunday night, the second half of <a href="/news/articles/1688065/kim-kardashian-oprah-kanye-west-dating.jhtml">Oprah Winfrey's interview</a> with the Kardashian family aired. In this installment Kim opened up about being friends with the rapper for years before they took a chance on love.</P><P>"We met maybe almost a decade ago. I've known him for a really long time — we've been friends for like six or seven years — so it's very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star said. "I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there's so many similarities in our life that I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space.</P><P>"I don't know why it took so long for us to kind of get together," she added. I'm the 'White' in 'Black [or] White,' and I sing 'Ben,' that famous song he wrote for the rat."</P><P>The rodent in question is the pet of a young boy named Danny in the 1972 film "Ben." Jackson sang a version of the theme song that appeared in the movie's closing credits and was later included on his 1972 album also named <em>Ben</em>. True Blood spoilers are hard to come by, well at least anything decent. So I am shocked to see that this seasons supernatural creature has been leaked. You will never guess what it is. Honestly, I am not that excited about this news. This season has been fantastic so far and if they don;t do this supernatural creature, just right it is going to make it super cheesy. On her 'loud' personality: “I am quite loud and bolshie,” she says (British slang for unruly and clamorous). “I’m a big personality. I walk into a room, big and tall and loud.” Indeed. There is no doubt when Adele is in the building. The rule of thumb for protecting one’s vocal cords, she tells me, is: If people are more than an arm’s length away, you shouldn’t talk to them. “But I am like, Wah! Wah! Wah!,” she says, laughing. “It’s really bad.”
On giving up drinking last May: “Don’t like drinking anymore. I think I got it out of my system. D’yaknowhaImean?”
On her vocal troubles: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it.” She flew to London the next morning to see her doctor and was diagnosed with acute laryngitis. After a couple weeks’ rest, she continued her European tour, came to America, and then her voice went again in May. “That was a hemorrhage... a burst blood vessel on my vocal cord. That healed, I did a tour, and then it happened again at my best friend’s wedding on October 1.”
On getting support through her surgery from other artists: “John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did and he really helped me be chilled out about it. Roger Daltrey’s had loads of stuff done; Steven Tyler reached out; Elton John. Lots of artists have had problems with their voices, but you don’t know about it. And they are still singing incredibly well in their 50s and 60s.”
On her six Grammy nominations: “I burst into tears when I found out. And I would love, absolutely love, to win. This record is coming to an end, and that would be the final brick on it.” [gallery=821]

I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show." Lady Gaga's Indonesian Flash Mob Made Her 'Cry So Hard'
'You are the best fans,' Gaga tweets after fans pay tribute following cancellation of her Jakarta concert.

<P>Late last month, <a href=http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml>Lady Gaga</a> was forced to cancel her <a href="/news/articles/1685874/lady-gaga-indonesian-concert.jhtml">June 3 concert in Jakarta, Indonesia</a>, after protests from Islamic groups led to national police denying her a permit for the show. But now, a different group of Indonesians has taken to the street, this time to show their support for the Mother Monster. And it's left Gaga in tears.</P><P>In a show of solidarity and support, 91 of Gaga's biggest, bravest fans — dubbed the Indonesian Little Monsters — gathered at Jakarta's Ex Plaza Indonesia shopping center for a flash-mob tribute to the singer. They were dressed to the nines in their Gaga finest, breaking into a choreographed dance number while surprised shoppers looked on — and filmed the entire routine on their camera phones.</P><P>In the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWqe6EozGro" target="_blank">10-minute video</a>, uploaded on Saturday, the group grooves to Gaga hits like "Telephone," "Bad Romance" and "Judas" before triumphantly embracing at the performance's end. And as if their routine didn't serve as a loud enough rebuke against the nation's conservative Islamic groups, the Indonesian Monsters end the clip with a message to both those groups and to Gaga herself, writing:</P><P>"Tons of rejection and hatred are everywhere. But still, we will always [get] your back. We respect your decision [to cancel] BTW Ball, and it doesn't change how much we love you. We love you, Mother Monster, 'til the end."</P><P>Understandably, Gaga was moved by the outpouring of support, posting the video on her Twitter account, along with a <a href="https://twitter.com/ladygaga/status/209557682728878080" target="_blank">response</a> to her Indonesian Monsters.</P><P>"This made me cry so hard," Gaga wrote. "I love you so much. You are the best fans in the world."</p>

Katie Holmes has filed for divorce from Tom Cruise after five years of marriage. Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise will soon be a single man according to People.com who broke the story that Katie Holmes is divorcing the actor. Even '90s girl group <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/04/26/tlc-reunion-tour-left-eye-hologram">TLC is rumored to be considering</a> a virtual version of <a href="/news/articles/1683858/left-eye-tlc-death.jhtml">the late Left Eye</a> on their upcoming tour.</P><P>With all that talk, MTV News hit Times Square to ask fans which departed artists they would most like to see perform in hologram form. Beyonce Opening Act Luke James Motivated By Her 'Drive'
After opening for B in Atlantic City, New Orleans newcomer tells MTV News what he's learned from the Queen.

<P>It was the morning after <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a>'s triumphant <a href="/news/articles/1685932/beyonce-michelle-obama-atlantic-city.jhtml">second show in Atlantic City</a> when we bumped into Luke James by an elevator bank at the Revel resort. R&B's reigning diva had tapped the New Orleans native to warm up the capacity crowds as she staged her comeback run over Memorial Day weekend, and James had the unmistakable bop of a man who knows he's done something ... special.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Luke James Learned To 'Give' From Beyonce" id="vid:787005" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Signed to Island Def Jam but still largely unknown to all but soul-music diehards, James had just the night before slayed a roomful of women that included the first lady, Michelle Obama. Armed with a flirty falsetto, James tossed long-stemmed red roses and lines like, "Before I met you, girl, I never knew my heart could dance/ I was just a broken record of one-night stands," from his standout single "I Want You." So what did the handsome upstart think when he heard he'd be opening up for the Grammy winner?</P><P>"The first thing I thought I was, 'OK, I need a band, gotta get the guys together, what we gon' wear, how we gon' do it 'cause I know <i>she's</i> gonna do it ... and what songs," James recalled when he stopped by the MTV newsroom, fresh from the four-night stint.</P><P>After jotting down a few notes on his mental checklist, Luke let himself absorb the moment: "And then I'm thinking, 'This is just an amazing opportunity. ... Dressed casually in a denim button-down and a red knit cap that called to mind old photos of <a href="http://theselvedgeyard.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/marvin-gaye-denim-red1.jpg?w=600" target="_blank">Marvin Gaye</a>, the singer paused for a heartbeat before relaying what lessons he picked up from Mrs. Carter.</P><P>"What I learned from Beyoncé is just the focus, the drive and to stay creative and to always give, just keep giving," he said. "Throughout the years that she's been doing it, since Destiny's Child to now, she's been giving.</P><P>"So this is the beginning for me ... I just want to remain giving and always [be] a necessity to people, you know?" he added thoughtfully. "Giving [fans] what they need. Bieber's Believe enters charts just one week after his mentor's Looking 4 Myself, as Usher tells MTV News, 'We support each other.'

<P>For the past several years, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> has been helping his protégé <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> become an international pop star. The pair have <a href="/news/articles/1673032/justin-bieber-usher-christmas-song.jhtml">collaborated on songs</a> and onstage, but now they are about to have their first battle — on the charts.</P><P>Usher's album, <a href="/news/articles/1686990/usher-looking-4-myself-evolution.jhtml"><i>Looking 4 Myself</i></a>, debuted on top of the <a href="/news/articles/1687847/usher-billboard-looking-4-myself.jhtml"><i>Billboard</i> albums chart</a>, becoming his fourth #1 album after selling 128,000 copies in its first week. But now it's Bieber's turn: Just one week later, Bieber will be entering the charts with his third studio album, <a href="/news/articles/1685471/justin-bieber-believe-track-list.jhtml"><i>Believe</i></a> and <a href="/news/articles/1687988/justin-bieber-believe-album-sales.jhtml">early predictions</a> are expecting huge album sales.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Do Usher And Justin Bieber Have a Friendly Competition For Record Sales?" id="vid:789781.id:1686957" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>According to <a href="http://www.billboard.com/#/news/justin-bieber-kenny-chesney-headed-for-top-1007386952.story?utm_source=most_recent" target="_blank"><i>Billboard</i></a>, <i>Believe</i> is on course to sell between 410,000 and 440,000 units, which would make it the year's biggest debut to date.</P><P>Even though Bieber is on track to beat his mentor in sales, the R&B superstar isn't concerned.</P><P>Regarding whether he and Bieber speak about topping each other on the charts, Usher told MTV News, "Actually, we have not had that conversation. We try to calculate when we release so that we support each other. It's like a seesaw: 'You take it this week; I'll take it this week.' "</P><P>Usher also said that even though he and Bieber do not appear on each other's albums, he was still heavily involved in each song that made the cut on <i>Believe</i>.</P><P>"We talked about many different things when making his album. The coolest part about it is we support each other regardless if I'm on the album or he's on my album or not," Usher said. "Every album, it is that sit-down that we have to have, to go through this record. We talk about the audiences that are there: This song is for this audience member, this song is for this region. And that's always very helpful."</P><P>Bieber shared during <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/765694/usher-continues-to-mentor-justin-bieber.jhtml#id=1684329">"MTV First: Justin Bieber"</a> that he still turns to Usher for sound advice.</P><P>"He's just giving me the advice of: Always keep the people that were there at the beginning and keep them with you, because those are the people that really care and they want to see you succeed."</P><P><i>Do you expect Justin Bieber to top Usher on the charts?
