Justin Bieber 'Boyfriend' Photo Contest: And The Winner Is ...

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> invited his fans to get involved in helping him pick the artwork for his first <a href="/news/articles/1681200/justin-bieber-boyfriend-album-cover.jhtml">Believe single, "Boyfriend,"</a> and the time has come to reveal which photo fans chose. And the pop singer is giving his fans a lot of bang for their buck for taking the time to vote in the cover-art contest. After fans voted on Twitter for their favorite of two photos, the shot of Bieber tousling his hair (also known as #JBboyfriend1) won as the single's cover. "So here it is ... the cover of the Walmart #BOYFRIEND SINGLE COVER ... made by U the fans! thank u! This is OUR ALBUM!" he tweeted before revealing the photo, which blends #JBboyfriend1 and #JBboyfriend2, the latter of which is just a shot of him looking off into the distance. "Boyfriend" officially drops on March 26. <a href="/news/articles/1680373/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml">Believe</a> will drop later this year. Produced by Mike Posner, the track features a bit of <a href="/news/articles/1681320/justin-bieber-complex-magazine.jhtml">Bieber rapping</a> lines like "Tell me what you like, dear/ Tell me what you don't/ I could be your Buzz Lightyear/ Fly across the globe/ You don't even need to fight, dear/ You already know/ I can make you shine bright/ Like you're laying in the snow, brrr."

Justin Bieber Channels Justin Timberlake On 'Boyfriend'

Tween dream swagger is all over <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s lead Believe single, <a href="/news/articles/1681595/justin-bieber-boyfriend.jhtml">"Boyfriend."</a> Taking several cues from Justin Timberlake's early post-'NSYNC work, the track amps up Bieber's credibility as a teen idol and remixes it with the type of production work longtime pop music fans can appreciate. <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:752329/cp~vid%3D752329%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A752329" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center> Lyrically, it sounds a bit silly at times (like when Bieber proposes he and his girl eat fondue by the fire), but Bieber's delivery of the lines proves that at 18, he's willing to take the steps to move forward in the world of pop. Sometimes it seems a little too similar to the way the other Justin delivers lines, but "Boyfriend," co-produced and co-written by Mike Posner, is light-years beyond the sugary sweet "Baby." The song opens pretty sparsely, with just a thumping beat, a "woo" noise and Bieber's sing-songy rap, before a guitar comes in as Bieber makes his plea to win a girl over. The chorus will have girls dancing around thanks to its bumping beat and chugging R&B-influenced instrumentation. He sings, "I could be a gentleman/ Everything you want/ If I was your boyfriend/ I'd never let you go/ I'd never let you go," before rapping, "Tell me what you like." Bieber uses some form of the word "swag" no fewer than four times on the track, including the somewhat perplexing line, "Swag, swag, swag on you." But regardless of what Bieber detractors might have to say, his Beliebers, who have aged right along with their idol, will appreciate his more grown-up sound on the record. The song officially dropped at midnight on Monday. <a href="/news/articles/1680373/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml">Believe</a> will be released later this year. Usher And David Guetta 'Proud' Of 'Without You'

When <a href="/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> and <a href="/music/artist/guetta_david/artist.jhtml">David Guetta</a> hooked up for the French DJ's latest album, Nothing but the Beat, the two superstars created a chart-topping smash, <a href="/news/articles/1670301/usher-david-guetta-without-you.jhtml">"Without You,"</a> that combines Guetta's ear for house beats and Usher's ability to convey a range of emotions with his voice. It's a song that has really stuck with fans of all genres of music. <div class="player-placeholder right" title="David Guetta, Usher Found An 'Incredible' Song To Collab On" id="vid:713197" width="240" height="211"></div> The track — a swirling pop ode to not giving up on love in the face of adversity — struck Usher with its emotional core. "David Guetta is an amazing artist," he told MTV News last week at a <a href="/news/articles/1674705/justin-bieber-usher-advice.jhtml">Pencils of Promise charity event</a>. "We talked for many years about working together, and we found a record that was incredible." Usher said it was a song that resonated with him personally. "I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I've actually been on in the last three years," he said. "Traveling all around the world, music sounds different. There's many different genres, and when you see R&B and pop and house, as well as electronic, come together, that's the reality of what music is." <div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher Gave David Guetta A Chance Before Anyone" id="vid:688619" width="240" height="211"></div> When MTV News talked to Guetta on the <a href="/news/articles/1674728/ama-taylor-swift-nicki-minaj-katy-perry.jhtml">American Music Awards</a> red carpet Sunday, he said "Without You" is a standout track on the album. The LP dropped earlier this year and also includes <a href="/news/articles/1674756/american-music-awards-nicki-minaj-david-guetta.jhtml">Nicki Minaj, who performed with Guetta at the AMAs</a>. "It's one of my favorite songs," he said. "It's just, I'm a DJ, so I want to make people dance always, but I also want to give emotions.
